Poster for 'Tyler Art Workshop in Scotland', 07 Jun 1993-05 Jul 1993. The workshop was offered by the Crafts Department, Tyler School of Art of Temple University and The Glasgow School of Art. It was held between London and various locations in Scotland, namely the Isle of Skye, Hospitalfield in Arbroath, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Inscribed 'Dave Cohen - Lys Hansen/ Pete Bevan/JC'. Sketches, mostly portraits, and notes regarding exhibition. Also a design for fish plates, and biblical references.

Most are annotated.  Although the folder is entitled 'Edinburgh', some of the material is of scenes outwith Edinburgh and of cars. For example: scenes of George's Rolls Royce at Doune, Broughton House and an Albion car dating from 1920. The Edinburgh material includes: Museum of Childhood, Edinburgh University, New Town and George Street lane sales. Some negatives relate to photographs in the previous folder entitled 'Edinburgh Prints'.

Most date from the period that the Olivers lived in Edinburgh as their Edinburgh address is given on many of the photographs. Includes: Playfair Library, glass houses at the Botanic Gardens, Life Association of Scotland Building, Princes Street, George Street, George Street lane sales, Leith Docks and the New Town.

A sketchbook of notes and artworks by Mary Ramsay. This item does not include an official date, but is presumed to date to c1926 due to the inscription 'Mary A. Ramsay, Dunellan, Strathyre' on the first page. This sketchbook includes a sketch of Comiston Road, Edinburgh, children's illustrations, sketches of floral pattern designs, and some portraits; however, most of the pages are left blank. All drawings are pencil on paper.

A collection of six sketchbooks created by Mary Ramsay, including four from her time as a student at The Glasgow School of Art, one dated to after her studies, and one undated. These sketchbooks feature a variety of subjects and themes, including life drawings, portraits, illustrations, floral patterns, ceramics studies, book designs, card designs, and lettering. Most artworks are pencil on paper, with some also using paint, ink, and pastel. Some sketchbooks include a number of loose ephemera items, such as newspaper cuttings and postage stamps.

A variety of loose artworks and six sketchbooks completed by Mary Ramsay, including life drawings, portraits, architectural studies, designs, prints, and illustrations. Some of these items are dated to her time as a student at The Glasgow School of Art. Most items are pencil on paper, with a few further studies in paint. This collection also includes a portfolio folder (DC 110/1/4) and personal papers (DC 110/3).

This collection includes one item by Jessie Wilson (DC 110/1/1/18), another student of The Glasgow School of Art, with whom Mary Ramsay and Margaret Macdonald started a pottery decorating business at The Studio, Strathyre, in 1926.
