Speculative Fictioning: The GSASA Archives Exhibition

‘Speculative Fictioning the GSASA Archives’ is exhibited in the GSA Assembly Building.

The exhibition explores concepts of worldbuilding and speculative fiction. It aims to creatively navigate archival practices, exploring ideas of memory and nostalgia, alongside an embodiment of what the Student’s Association is and can be.

‘Speculative Fictioning’ features archive material ranging from the 1930s to the present day. It features zines, posters, photographs, society ephemera and prints. Newly commissioned works by current students are exhibited, alongside interventions from Students’ Association Staff.

The exhibition will include material from GSA Archives and Collections’ Ephemera and Records of the Students’ Association.

A project by GSA students and staff: Shenghan Chi, Anne-Marie Copestake, Meg Gray, Francis McKee, Janaki Mistry, Lottie Riechmann, Leah Sinforiani, and Ted Tinkler.
