Plaster and resin cast, possibly taken from an older wood carving showing a nativity scene on the long face and an Annunciation and Joseph on either end. The reverse is hollow with rough resin marks. Shape suggests it is copied from a capital at the top of a pilaster. Formerly located in the Director's office.

This item was lost in the fire in The Mackintosh Building at The Glasgow School of Art on 23rd May 2014. Design for part of a memorial window for the Church of St Paul, Sandgate, Folkestone. Inscribed: 'For he that is mighty hath magnified me and holy is his name'.

Most artworks are pencil on paper, with some also using paint, ink, and pastel. Some sketchbooks include a number of loose ephemera items, such as newspaper cuttings and postage stamps.

Annotations in the lower right corner of each page states that the designs are copied from manuscripts in the British Museum, and attributes their execution to Dorothy Doddrell.
