This collection includes works by a number of artists, designers and architects associated with Charles Rennie Mackintosh, including his wife Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, his sister-in-law Frances Macdonald MacNair and his sister-in-law's husband Herbert MacNair. These works include textiles, designs, and four volumes of a Glasgow School of Art student publication called The Magazine, as well as several individual watercolours now separated from the publication. The collection also includes a number of models for proposed architectural schemes by Mackintosh.

Includes departmental and student publications such as "Folio", "Flow", "Facet", "Mac Mag", "Mac Journal", "The Palette" and "The Vista". Also includes exhibition catalogues related to GSA staff or students and various publications related to GSA, GSA staff and GSA-related projects.

Uncatalogued material includes class lists, certificates, degree show material, assessor's reports, admin relating to graduation ceremonies and awards and prizes, student handbooks, prospectuses, conversion course correspondence, open day details and international student recruitment policy details. Committee papers held within this department include - Admissions Sub Committee, Accreditation of Prior Learning Committee (APL), Awards and Prizes Committee, Conversion Courses Committee, Degree Show Committee, Entry Requirements Working Party, Joint Appeals Committee, Postgraduates Scholarship Sub Committee, Student Progress Committee, Widening Participation Group.

The majority of this material is currently uncatalogued and therefore not accessible for researchers. Includes prospectuses for 1967/68 to 2006 (some missing). Recently accessioned material has not yet been fully catalogued but includes class registers for evening classes and summer schools, programme details and reports, timetables and other course administration.

Includes materials relating to the publication of Facet magazine by Glasgow School of Art between 1968 and 1969. Includes administrative paperwork, drafts and photographs.

A variety of loose artworks, cover designs, correspondence, ephemera, and photographs completed by and belonging to Archibald Haswell Miller. The collections includes proofs for book covers and pamphlets, personal correspondence relating to his studies and subsequent career, different ephemera relating to Haswell Miller's student days and photographs of artworks and students and staff members of The Glasgow School of Art.

This collection also includes material relating to Georges-Marie Baltus (DC 098/2) , including photographs of his artworks and his Italian and European trips, and Francis H. Newbery (DC 098/3).

A variety of designs, correspondence, ephemera and photographs related to Archibald Haswell Miller. A large amount of items are dated to his time as either a student or a lecturer at The Glasgow School of Art.

This collection includes two folders of material. The first, containing DC 009/4/1-9, includes publications produced by the G.S.A. Students’ Association between 1984 and 2005. The second, containing DC 009/4/10-21, includes publications created by students at the Glasgow School of Art, collected by the Students’ Association dating between 2003 and 2013.
