Original: Michelangelo, c1526-1534. Giuliano di Lorenzo de' Medici (12 Mar 1479-17 Mar 1516) was an Italian nobleman, one of three sons of Lorenzo the Magnificent. Original currently in the Medici Chapel in the Church of San Lorenzo, Florence, Italy.

Collection of photographic copies of George Henry paintings, mostly portraits. Most are mounted on a supporting cardboard backing. Some have typewritten labels. Some are stamped or labelled with "A.C. Cooper, Fine Art Photographer".
Venus with missing arm, supported by dolphin and cherub. Original: Roman copy of Greek statue c2 BC, of Hellenistic style. Listed in the first catalogue of casts as Greek, located in the 'Florence Gallery' and was purchased from D. Brucciani.
Original: Greco-Roman attribution, shows Mercury God of merchandise and merchants, commonly identified with the Greek Hermes, fleet-footed messenger of the gods.
This item was damaged in the fire in the Mackintosh Building on 23rd May 2014. It underwent conservation and consolidation work in 2016.
Black and white photograph of a bronze male head sculpture sitting on a box. Male figure has a chin strap beard and prominent nose. Says ""Jack Dalziel" - by Helen Biggar - c. 1939" written in blue pen with "92B" circled verso. Jack Dalziel (real name "John") was likely a friend of Helen's.
Black and white portrait photograph. Believed to be Sydney d'Horne Shepherd, wearing a white dress shirt, light coloured tie, and darker coloured suit jacket. A stamp reads "Howard Coster, / Photographer of Men, / 9, Sackville St., Piccadilly, W.1. / Regent 4561.", with an "A" drawn in pencil below it verso.
A4 sized paper scan of a black and white blown up image of a lady in white patterned headscarf. Verso " Mrs Kopaloff - 88 yrs - Stepney, East London / 1977 / A reduced cope of the original, part of our / exhibition of East End Faces, held at / Toynbee Hall - The Universities' Settlement in East London." Per DC 101/3/1, Mrs Kopaloff was sitting at her kitchen table in her pre-fabricated home shelling peas. She had escaped from Jewish persecution in Lithuania and found refuge in the United Kingdom; Veronica Matthew knew her well.
Includes a black and white glossy photograph of a smiling Veronica Matthew in a white dress made with a printed shawl by Valerie Wilson (Bloomfield-Ambrose) in 1956 or 1957. "Weekly Scotsman. Edinburgh." written at bottom on the white border. Verso "Veronica Matthew / G.S.A. Fashion Show, 1956 or 1957 / The white dress belonged to Valerie Wilson, (now V. Ambrose), + made by her. The stole was a screen printed textile made by me in greens, red + a kind of Kakhi colour. The headdress was red knitting pins stuck into my bun. I was a student of Robert Stewart's / Printed Textiles Dept. + Kathleen Whyte's Modern Embroidery / 10 Aug 2016." Verso also includes a stamp that indicates the copyright and reference number for printing purposes.
Includes a smiling Valerie in her home in Florida with cast sculptures, paintings, framed pictures, and a living room behind her; "Val Ambrose / Florida, 2010" verso. Has small white border and is glossy.
Includes a business card with a sculpture and two oil paintings as images along the top. Written below "Valerie Bloomfield-Ambrose / Portrait painter and sculptor" and address.

The Nude male statue, erroneously identified as Germanicus, a member of the family of the Emperor Augustus, probably should be considered a portrait of a member of a wealthy family of the late Republic. Original currently in the collection of the Louvre, Paris, France.
