It consists of a cover page ( made of cartridge) with 19 pages (with no binding) done in the form of hand writing with some free hand sketches including information about design criteria like: development of structural system from concept, integration of structural system into building fabric, influence of structural material, appropriateness of fabric/structure design & detail, and relationship between structural system & services system.

Material related to the submission of a case study as part of post Year 5, RIBA Part 3. It consists the details of the construction stage of two stories blocks of bedsits and large block of 1 bedroom flats for elderly people, Surrey. This case study submitted by the architect when he was joined Hutchison Locke and Monk's offices in Richmond, October 1981. As described by the architect, the submission includes his observations during his visits to the site, recording the official site meetings, and sub-contractors meetings. The submission is in the form of comb binding document of typewritten style with some maps, photos from the site, minutes from meetings, and progress reports.

2-page press release detailing the upcoming Royal Gala Fashion Show. Information included dates the press release to the 22nd October, from the Savoy Hotel, London.

Collection of photographs of architectural exteriors and interiors of churches and other historical buildings in Ireland and France. Photographs are mounted on a supporting cardboard backing. Back of photographs have stamp "Chas. E. Whitelaw". Many photographs have handwritten titles on cardboard below the photograph.

Cream coloured glazed ceramic Chinese figure in court dress. Some damage (repaired) to neck and missing hands. Old paper label with no. 629/20 and 'Sch 76' in red paint inside figure suggest that it was part of the School's handling collection.

Small card. Calligraphy design on cover with illuminated initial. The Glasgow School of Art tag in the lower right corner dates the work to the academic session 1915-16, and the artist as Dorothy Doddrell.

Collection of cloud and sky study photographs. Photographs are mounted on a supporting cardboard backing. Most have a stamp on the support that says "Glasgow School of Art and Haldane Academy".

Japanese inspired dark wood gavel and block with engraved silver coloured metal commemorative plaque reading, "Presented to the Glasgow School of Art by the City of Glasgow on the occasion of their 150th anniversary, 28 June 1995."

Commission game equipment all kept in a wooden box, consisting of:
1- Small yellow cards, some of them with letter A, and others with letter C: "Architect and contractor boards for each commission received";

A report with 27 pages done using typewriter. It also consists of seven coloured photos related to the game. The idea of the game is help students learn more about the building process from commission stage to completion as it shows the relationship between client, architect, and contractor. The idea was developed with the help of the tutor Drew Mackie, game consultant. The report gives instructions and explains how to complete the tasks at each stage.
