Mantel border or stole. Open tape lace with stylised floral pattern. Symmetrical design with some paisley shaped flowers. Wave pattern along lower edge.

Fine black floral patterned lace stole. All over naturalistic rose pattern with leaves and rows of stylised flowers around edge.

Welted edged, one edge unhemmed, looped at top edge for hanging. Industrially dyed wool.

Blue glazed ceramic rabbit with black glazed eyes with red marking on bottom of rabbit, "SCH-83". Includes wooden stand painted black with four small feet, shaped for rabbit to sit. Bottom of stand has red marking "SCH-83B". Due to information in an inventory, rabbit can be dated pre-1958.

Bookplate for R.Y. Pickering [Robina Pickering] with motto "Je Gardye Bien" by DYC [D.Y.-Cameron?]

Three bookplates. Bookplate (a): for "Book No 12693" thought to be early 1900s. Bookplate (b): for "Book 18203" is believed to be in Figaro font, devised in 1940, and so it is thought the plate dates to post 1940. Bookplate (c): Is believed to use Chisel font, devised by Robert Harling in 1930, and so it is thought to date to post 1939. Governors' Minutes 22 January 1945 read: "Designs by three students were submitted for a bookplate for the library books and the design of Miss Elizabeth Jamieson was selected. It was agreed that Miss Jamieson receive the sum of £5.5.0 for her design." However it is not clear which bookplate this is referring to.

British. Black embroidery on white cotton of intertwining ribbon and flower design. Buttonhole and running stitches.

Classical scene; three figures. Awarded to David Broadfoot Carter. Inscribed obverse: "Glasgow School of Art, Bram Stoker Medal for the best imaginative work of the year/ D.Broadfoot Carter 1903".

Inscribed obverse: "Glasgow School of Art, Bram Stoker Medal for the best imaginative work of the year/ James Huck 1904".

Brass lantern treated with gold finish with cut-out ornamental design on top and bottom. Has glass covering for light, cut wires on bottom which would have been attached to light bulb inside. Lantern would have been attached to the wall. Back of lantern has red marking, "SCH-302". Indented stamp on top front of lamp, "ALLAN & CO". Due to information in an inventory, lantern can be dated pre-1958.

Persian. Silk satin hanging with repeating design showing a hunter on horseback, musicians and figures at a hookah. The hanging is lined with block printed cotton. Gray-green with soft colours.

A 'Progressive Proofs' file containing a reproduction print of the cover of 'Broughty Ferry - The Pleasure Beach of Dundee" brochure, which William Drummond Bone painted. An accompanying newspaper article provides more detail.

Sampler on brown binca backing with a variety of yellow, orange, brown and black stitches including couching, herringbone and chain stitch.

Large brown pottery bottle vase with black leaf pattern. No obvious makers mark, but believed to be by John Calderwood who worked as a technician in the ceramics department of the Art School during the 1990s.
