There are several reasons for the attribution to Jessie Newbery: the very fine quality of the fabrics used; the method of construction; the quality of the stitching; the colours used; the simplicity of the design which complements the shape of the collar so effectively and the use of silver metal clasps.

3 spindles and 27 hanks/balls of wool from Margaret Elizabeth Galt's time at GSA. Most are labelled. Dyes include: bedstraw roots, bedstraw plants and flowers, birch bark, blaeberry & bourtree, broom flower, bramble, cochineal (alum), elderberry, elderberry (alum coft salt), lichen, lichen from rock, madder (alum), onion skins.

A collection of various articles, reviews and research notes written by Cordelia Oliver.  Includes: a review of the 104th annual exhibition of the Royal Glasgow Institue of the Fine Arts at the McLellan Galleries held in 1965 and an article written in 1983 for the Guardian about the Burrell Collection which was to open a few months later.  The original folder had the inscription 'KEEP! CMO APR '06'.

Beaten lead mirror with peacock designs.
The mirror was almost certainly part of the furnishings of the Mackintoshes Southpark Avenue flat taken over by William Davidson when he purchased the flat.
