His work often played on Glasgow humour, with notable characters such as Lobey Dosser and the Sheriff of Carlton Creek. The exhibition was held in the Newbery Lounge in the Newbery Tower at The Glasgow School Of Art. The exhibition title refers to Isaac Wolfson who was a Scottish business man and philanthropist known for his successful mail order service.
