This overlay accompanies the poster for the screening of Bruce Lacey's "Mechanical Ballet" which can be found under reference number GSAA/EPH/10/162. Lacey is an eccentric character known for working with sculpture, sound and performance and has been featured in a number of British films including the Beatles' film 'Help'. The screening was held in The Haldane Building on the 15th of April 1971. Lacey screened a number of stills from his ICA exhibition during this event.

This special edition consists of ten posters by Jonathan Monk, originally made for a touring exhibition "Again, A Time Machine", commissioned by Book Works and Eastside Projects. Dominating both posters is a quote from John Kenneth Galbraith who was a prominent economist during this period. The quote states "It is on the artistic not less than on the engineering and scientific excellence that economic security and economic progress now depend," The exhibition was held between The Mackintosh Museum on The Glasgow School Of Art Campus and Kelvingrove Art Gallery And Museum and ran from the 9th of February to the 1st of March 1985.
