The collection consists of printed textiles, garments and papers relating to Fraser Taylor's time as an undergraduate student at GSA (1978-1981), a postgraduate student at RCA (1983), and items relating to other professional activities. It also includes examples of textiles and associated ephemera for design collective The Cloth (1983-1987).

Red ink design with painted geometric shapes. shapes deducted from paper by knife and painted in purple paint, yellow and blue ink, shapes reintroduced to the paper by tapping them from the back to create a collage effect with a flush surface. Similar materials and format to DC 089/3/6/4.

Abstract drawing design

Rectangular motif drawing in conte crayon and collaged onto a piece on cream paper. Ball point pen is applied to the surface creating linear marks in a repeat style pattern. Pink ink splotches in background of design. Similar in design and media to DC 089/3/6/5. Backed on conservation board.

Floral textile design

Ink is applied in washes to the surface of the paper, blue opaque gouache renders the background leaving floral shapes to reveal the ink underneath. Black acrylic is used to outline the organic shapes and loosely create a checked pattern in the background. Paper backed on conservation board.

Black crayon is applied to the background in a dense crosshatch pattern. Coloured inks are washed over the surface creating a watery effect. Organic shapes with gestural brush strokes in black ink are applied to the surface of the composition. Paper backed on conservation board.
