This lecture focused on the topic of Christianity, capitalism and revolution and was organised by David Dobson who was head of the Sculpture department at The Glasgow School Of Art in 1972.

One third section of a poster advertising a series of films that were shown in The Mackintosh Lecture Theatre at The Glasgow School Of Art. Screening were documentaries about artists including Mackintosh, Rousseau, Klee, McLaren, Giacometti, Hamilton, Paolozzi, Jones, Kitaj, Bosch and Spencer as well as a film entitled 'A Short Vision'. This section screenprinted in CMYK inks using both drawn elements and half dot images.

Poster for 'Exhibition Celebrating 70 Years Fashion Show 1947-2017', Reid Building, Glasgow, 21 Mar 2017-22 Mar 2017. The exhibition celebrated 70 years of fashion shows at The Glasgow School of Art, and the fashion show that year was held whilst the exhibition was showing. The images on the poster are from the Archives & Collections.

This poster advertised screenings of the films 'Midnight Cowboy' and 'The Connection' which took place in the Mackintosh Lecture Theatre within The Glasgow School Of Art from the 12th of April to the 4th May 1990. Tickets for the event were priced at 30p per screening or £1 for five screenings.

This is a poster for the 3rd year Textiles Fashion Show held at 7pm and 9pm each night from 8th-9th Mar 2011 . The event was accompanied by a boutique and secret postcard sale with an aftershow party held at the Buff Club. The event was sponsored by Mandors Fabric Store, Buchanan Galleries shopping centre, PRI and Mash amplification. One of the themes of this year's fashion show was the Newbery Tower, which was due for demolition during the School's summer vacation in 2011. The Archives also hold digital images of the secret postcard sale, which involved the selling of postcards created by past and present students on the theme of the Newbery Tower.

Banham was also a prolific writer and is best known for his theoretical treatise 'Theory and Design in the First Machine Age' (1960) and for his book 'Los Angeles: The Architecture of Four Ecologies' (1971). The poster states "Come on babey, do the mega structure" which is a pun on the 1962 pop song 'Loco-Motion' by Eva Boyd.

The entire poster would have been one of many displayed on huge billboards on Renfrew Street to advertise events happening during each of The Glasgow School Of Art's annual activities weeks.

This poster advertised a performance of jazz music by George Melly and The John Chilton's Feetwarmers held at Bourdon Hall within The Glasgow School Of Art on the 3rd of March 1992. Tickets for the event were priced at £3 and could be purchased from the registrar's office and at Wylie's bookshop. George Melly was a successful jazz musician, performer and lecturer.

This poster advertised a ceilidh that was held in the Haldane Hall on the 19th of February 1972 as part of The Glasgow School Of Art's activities week. Activities week was an annual programme of talks, film screenings and social events that ran from 1971 to 1985. Playing at the ceilidh were a number of notable Scottish folk musicians including Cliff Hanley, Billy Connolly, Robin Hall, Jimmy McGregor and Charlie Williamson. An image of this poster can be found in the 1973 Glasgow School Of Art prospectus on page 21.

This poster advertised a lecture given by the London based illustrator David Gentleman. It was held in the Mackintosh Lecture Theatre on The Glasgow School Of Art campus and was a Gordon Huntly and Kit Grant Memorial Lecture.

The 1978 Fashion Show was held in the Mackintosh Lecture Theatre from the 24th to 28th April 1978. The film comprises a combination of still images and film footage of students preparing for the show behind the scenes, and modelling on the stage. There is a mixture of men’s and women’s garments. Styles and themes include metallic fabrics, sportswear, bodysuits and off-the-shoulder dresses. Children’s clothes were also modelled in the show although these are not shown in the film. Garments were designed and modelled mostly by students or former students. Indigo Designs also designed evening dresses for the show. Students involved in the show came from a variety of subject areas and years, including: 1st year; Embroidery and Weaving; Textiles; and Graphics. Hair was by the Hely Design Group and shoes were from Ravel. The set for the show consisted of a pale, self-coloured ruched fabric backdrop. The event was held in the Haldane building as part of The Glasgow School Of Art's annual Activities Week. Joe McGrath is known for his work as a director on films such as the 1967 version of Casino Royale, The Goon Show and Rising Damp. Bob Godfrey is an illustrator and animator, most famously known for his animation for children's television shows 'Roobarb' and 'Henry's Cat'. The poster is promoted on page 19 of The Glasgow School Of Art prospectus for 1972/73.

This poster advertised a concert of medieval music which was held in the Mackintosh Lecture Theatre on Thursday the 22nd of February 1973 featuring Neil Morrison on lute and guitar. Morrison taught at The Glasgow School Of Art from 1970 to 1972 and made his own instruments. He played a number of concerts around Glasgow at this time, including one at The Third Eye Centre in April 1987.
