The poster details the structure of the course and the vocational opportunities that could be gained with a degree in Interior Design. The poster also stipulates the entry requirements for the course. These were a minimum of 5 SCE passes or 3 at Higher grade, or 5 GCE passes, 2 at A level. It was mandatory that two of the subjects passed were Art and English.

3 Letters from the Corporation of Glasgow - Education Department, detailing the arrangements for a Special Art Course to Castle Toward from 13th July 1957 to the 27th of July 1957. On the third sheet, Wallace Shaw is noted as an attendee in his 5th year at Eastbank S.S., and had attended previous courses. Other sheets provide a packing list, travel arrangements, and personal message from H. Stewart Mackintosh (Director of Education).
