This poster advertised a farewell dinner for staff member Lennox Patterson. Patterson is known for his illustrative work done in linocut and scraperboard and was a student at The Glasgow School Of Art before becoming a lecturer in graphic design as well as Deputy Director of the school. The dinner was held in the Bourdon Hall in the Bourdon building on the 20th of December 1979.

Hertzberger is widely considered to be one of the influences behind the Dutch Structuralist movement of the mid 20th century. The lecture was held in the Mackintosh Lecture Theatre on The Glasgow School Of Art campus on the 20th of February 1975.
This poster advertised a lecture given by the photographer Gus Wylie which was held in the Mackintosh Lecture Theatre on the 12th of November 1986. Wylie is known for his monochrome photography work and has taught at both University of the Arts in London and Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. On the reverse of the poster is written "Bob Stewart" in pencil.
