This poster advertised an exhibition of work by postgraduate fine art students which was held in the Mackintosh Building at The Glasgow School Of Art from the 23rd to the 29th of June 1990. The show included work by Marta Estrella, Martyn Greenhalgh, Christopher Hoddinott, Brigitte Jurack, Richard Learoyd, Rachel Meehan, Gregory Patterson, Robert Stark and Euan Sutherland. The poster was designed at The Glasgow School Of Art and printed at David J Clark Limited. The image used on the poster was taken by Richard Learoyd and shows a number of students including: - Alex Dempster - Jim Hamlyn - Peter McCaughey - Craig Richardson - Julie Roberts - Andrew Sneddon - Eddie Stewart - Cathy Whippey The list of names was gathered with the help of Eddie Stewart who works as a tutor in the school's painting and printmaking department. Stewart previously graduated from the school with an undergraduate degree in drawing and painting and a postgraduate degree in fine art. He is pictured in The Glasgow School Of Art's degree show posters for 1988 and 1990, both of which appear in The Glasgow School Of Art poster collection. The 2003 degree show was sponsored by McGrigor Donald, Hoegaarden Beer, the MacFarlane Group and the Gordon Yuill Company. This item consists of portraits and life drawings, children's illustrations, lettering, costume designs, studies of ceramic samples, floral patterns, a list of reference books about art and design, and a Little Willie rhyme. Most artworks are in pencil, while some are in ink or paint on paper. Some illustrations have been pasted in from other sources. A number of loose ephemera items are also included in the sketchbook, including postage stamps and a newspaper advert for paint tubes.

Includes a copy with different writing on the back; the content on the back was asked by the donor to not be public information. Includes two people and a bird carved into the scraperboard in cream and black; says "A good new year and a Merry Xmas to Veronica from Alasdair."

Framed watercolour with blues, oranges, and browns of the Botanical Gardens in Glasgow. Includes a blue path and orange grass. Matthew wrote "Botanic Garden" bottom right of the painting before the frame. Wrote "Matthew 223 / Full size 7/8 x 3/8 box white".

Two copies of the card for The Glasgow Art Students Tryst for Belgium and the Red Cross dating to the 29th and 30th of January.

Some of this material was damaged in the fire in GSA's Mackintosh Building on 23rd May 2014. Paper conservation took place in 2018. Textile conservation was completed in 2019.
