Material related to studying examples of living with the river such as a lake dwellings from Japan, Kohama 6000 B.C describing the strategic reasons behind the design of such community dwellings. All the drawings are freehand sketches on tracing paper showing the site plans from an iron age village addressing the way to reach these dwellings from mainland by canoes. Another example of living with the river is the pile dwellings or the Saigon Shacks where they built on piles raised above the water because there is not enough room on the mainland for more houses.

Architectural details on cartridge paper related to the design of selected furniture and fitments including copies of the perspective sections (created by the architect) with photos taken from furniture company magazines such as Interlubke, Habitat, Carron Co., Armitage Shanks, and Thonet Freischwinger. The aim of this activity is to show that the student learned how to make use of the furniture and fitments available on the market at the time of designing the apartment project.

The architectural drawings consist of: site plane scale 1:500, axonometric view scale 1:200, and drawings related to the building analysis of the site, programme, structure, circulation, enclosure, and entrance, all in scale 1:500.

Architectural drawings of the conversion of an existing boathouse showing the floor plans, and an interior isometric scale 1:100. The drawings are all Rotring ink pen on tracing paper. The drawings show the final work of the refurbishment that the architect plans to develop the existing building. In its plan stage, the architect redesigned the interior spaces and added some extensions that would change the outdoor look. The interior isometric shows the new redesign in 3D.

Material related to the design of a school for the "mentally handicapped", including site analysis, initial studies, initial strategy, floor plans, sections and elevations.

It shows how the architect translated his initial strategy into the final design. The site plan shows the main building outline, the indoor landscape (playground), the new car park, the main entrance to the site, and other themes related to surrounding buildings. While the site section (the site plan has no indication of where the architect took this section) shows the height of the new school comparing it to the height of the surrounding buildings.

The ground floor plan includes the main building entrance, street entrance, the indoor spaces, vertical circulation, and other services. It also shows the main structural elements: cylinder columns, and load bearing walls. The ground floor comes with the full details of the indoor spaces with their furniture and the outdoor spaces and their relationships with the exterior elevations. Here, the architect names these spaces as: children's shop, story telling, library, and tea shop. The architect tried to design the school as a clear box from the outside, however, the interior design seems like more free space with curved lines making the movement smooth for the pupils.

Architectural drawing on tracing paper related to the design of Project 1 including ground floor plan and basement floor plan in scale 1:100. It shows the design of the ground plan indicating the functional spaces of the caretaker's flat and other spaces for communal purposes. It also includes the design of the landscape within the site, the outdoor spaces, trees, outdoor patio shades, and steps.
It also shows the design of basement floor plan indicates parking and plant presenting the layout of the car parking and its main entrance, staircase and lift, but without any indication to the design details.

The architect used shading to give an idea of the height of each new building within the site plan.

Architectural drawing on tracing paper related to Housing design project 2 representing block 2 corner pub, a typical floor plan for each of the first, second, and third floors in scale 1:200. The block's layout takes a triangle shape. It shows the different levels on one side of the block affected by the site's topography which results in a discontinuity of the same floor level for the three triangle sides. Flats are indicated: 5P, 3P, 2P, and GP. Each flat shows the main functional spaces, in addition to the main vertical circulation of the other flats within the blocks.

Architectural drawing on tracing paper related to Housing design/project 2 represents Block 4P flats and their drawing details including ground, first, and second floor plans all in scale 1:50. Each floor has two symmetrical flats. Each flat consists of two bedrooms, living room and dining room with an open kitchen, and two bathrooms. A central main entrance connects the main street with the back yard including the services shafts as well as showing the design of the flooring tiles. The cross section shows the floor height and the main staircase. The architect used the ceiling of the main entrance to add some decoration using some hanging plants to give the central volume a sense of environmental quality effect. The section also shows the main structural elements but without any indications of material types.

The site plan has no street names, however, it is easy to identify the location of the new graduation hall as the site plan shows how the new hall is connected with Barony Hall. The North sign is present on this material. It also shows the design of the new landscape that goes behind the site boundary to make the new hall integrated within the main University campus.

The Cathedral square elevation shows the new hall from Castle Street presenting the external view of the new hall with Barony Hall and how the new architectural style differs from the traditional building style. There are no indications about the material types used within the new design. The main idea of the new hall is in its building height which did not dominant the skyline of the campus building and Barony Hall which is still standing to be the focal point of the site. The cross section shows the main hall and its functional spaces in its vertical dimension with the structural elements of the interior columns and the central skylight.

It shows the main entrance of the Wellington church, with six palladio columns.
