Architectural details on cartridge paper related to the selected finishing materials used on the design of the sitting area and dining area, bathroom and bedroom including copies of the perspective sections (created by the architect) with samples of the materials, as:

  • sitting area and dining area: birch panelling, Cramond upholstery fabric, Murasuede wall fabric, and Interland cord carpet.
  • bathroom: birch panelling, deep pile carpet, ceramic tile, and painted timber.
  • bedroom: birch panelling, deep pile carpet, painted timber, and Armitage + Rhodes upholstery fabric.

Biographical history

Christopher Platt studied at the Mackintosh School of Architecture at The Glasgow School of Art between 1974-1981. He is co-Founder of Studio KAP architects and Chair of Architecture at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, where he was previously Head of School. His first 20 years of professional practice was spent in Glasgow, London, Oxford, Ethiopia and Berlin and was followed by 20 years combining academia with independent, reflective practice in Studio KAP and practice-based research both in Global North and Global South contexts.
