Material related to studying cars. The architect chose the Hillman Hunter 1977 to study the existing model, its plans, elevations and sections in scale 1:20. All drawings are freehand sketches on greaseproof paper. The aim was to analyse the manufacturing design and how the recent model had been developed to create more comfortable space and improve car shell and body elements like dashboard, steering wheel, and storage. The drawing sheet has been folded vertically.

The designs are attached to backing paper and two of them are dated 1937 and 1938. This work was used as teaching material in schools in Scotland, as marked the level of students "Fifth year."

The dry stone dyke on one side and the thick trees on the other enhance this approach. The motorway safety barrier on the top right spoils what would be a picturesque scene".
