Designed for the schoolroom, Gladsmuir, Kilmacolm. The same two metal panels first appear in the design for the fireplace and fender probably intended for Regent Park Square and were repeated in the wardrobe designed for Westdel in 1898. This item was assessed for conservation in 2010 as part of the Mackintosh Conservation and Access Project (2006-2010).

Framed watercolour with blues, oranges, and browns of the Botanical Gardens in Glasgow. Includes a blue path and orange grass. Matthew wrote "Botanic Garden" bottom right of the painting before the frame. Wrote "Matthew 223 / Full size 7/8 x 3/8 box white".

Watercolour and pencil sketch of Bothwell Church. The backing board notes that the sketch depicts the church before restoration. A joint visit by the Glasgow and Edinburgh Architectural Associations was made to the church on 22 Jun 1889; McGibbon possibly attended this trip and produced this sketch. The drawing bears the stamp of the Glasgow School of Art Library.
