This poster advertised the undergraduate BA Honours in Product Design course offered at The Glasgow School of Art. The back of the poster answers a number of questions potential applicants might have had, including: Why Glasgow? Why Glasgow School of Art? What are the aims of the course? Will it appeal to me? What are the career prospects? How can I apply? What entrance qualifications do I need? The front of the poster states "There has never been a greater need for product design graduates to take up their crucial role in guiding the future prosperity of society, commerce and culture. The Department of Product Design at Glasgow School of Art is well placed to answer this exciting challenge, offering a rich programme which has earned an international reputation for producing versatile, creative designers."

The poster details the structure of the course and the vocational opportunities that could be gained with a degree in Interior Design. The poster also stipulates the entry requirements for the course. These were a minimum of 5 SCE passes or 3 at Higher grade, or 5 GCE passes, 2 at A level. It was mandatory that two of the subjects passed were Art and English.

Largely consists of works within churches in Dorset.

All the correspondence listed here occurred after Simmonds left the Glasgow School of Art. The major correspondent is the School Secretary, Edward Catterns, and all the letters from him to Simmonds are the draft or copy letters kept by the school office. Other correspondence includes the letters between Catterns and the Derby School of Art regarding the situation with Simmonds.

• correspondence between Newbery and school staff, 1909-1916
• correspondence on Morley Fletcher, Principal of ECA, September 1912
• correspondence with visiting lecturers, March-May 1914.
• later acquisitions of material relating to Newbery, including some working papers and correspondence from his time as Director in addition to papers dating to after his retirement, family records and photographs, and written materials regarding Newbery.
