The diary has entries pertaining to Miller's appointments, a list of addresses and some sketches on the back pages. Inside the diary there are two newspaper clippings. One related to the suicide Erich Rom in Partick, a student from Berlin (inside pages 40-41), and another related to a match between Glasgow High School and Glasgow Academy (inside pages 54-55)

The diary has entries pertaining to Miller's appointments, a list of addresses and some sketches on the back pages. On the first page Miller's address is listed as Mansfield Lodge, Partickhill. There are numerous little bits of paper tucked into the diary on different pages, including; three name cards and a subscription card for the Glasgow School of Art (pp. 56-57), a newspaper cut out from 03 Jul 1905 entitled 'A day with Glasgow Cadets at Barry' (pp. 82-83), and a Glasgow School of Art Club card, tucked into the back cover page.

On the first page Miller's address is listed as Mansfield Lodge, Minard Avenue, Partickhill. In between pages at the front of the diary there is a Glasgow School of Art Club card with Miller's name and address, it is dated 30 Nov 1906. Inside the diary there is also a woven or knitted patch, perhaps for mending clothing.

Josephine Haswell Miller's sketchbook

Sketchbook belonging to Josephine Haswell Miller, dated 1920-1925. In the front page her address is listed as 224 West Regent Street, Glasgow. The sketchbook contains various drawings, including, of buildings, furniture and faces. Tucked inside the sketchbook are some ephemera, including; a letter addressed to Miller from boots the chemist, a postcard with a photograph of the Shaw Memorial in Boston on the front, and two letters addressed to her.
