Carole Harper studied Silversmithing and Jewellery in the mid 1980s, and modelled in the 1985 and 86 fashion shows. She died in summer 1986 and the Carole Harper Memorial Prize was first presented in session 1986-87 by her parents. This prize was still being presented in 2016.
