Archival history

As a public funded body and in accordance with the GSA Policy on Governance and the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council 'Guide for Governors', the Board of Governors agreed on 09 Feb 2000 to review its procedures and put in place a new Register of Interests.

The members of the Board of Governors are required a fill in a 'Register of Interests' form to ensure that their private or business interests that might be thought to influence their actions as members of the Board are made transparent. Board members are required to register their interests on appointment to the Board and, thereafter, at the end of each accounting year.
