Appraisal, destruction and scheduling
This material has been appraised in line with Glasgow School of Art Archives and Collections standard procedures.
Appraisal for Glasgow School of Art Committees:
Agendas, purely administrative correspondence, and duplicate Minutes of Committees have been appraised from these papers leaving only Harry Barnes' collected papers and correspondence about the meetings. You can find the minutes for the various committees in collections such as GSAA/GOV and GSAA/AC (see 'Related Material').
Appraisal for External Committees:
Barnes' papers for external committees have not been appraised in the same manner as above because the minutes of these meetings are not preserved elsewhere in GSA's collections.
