Accruals
System of arrangement
Some of this material was numbered and/or dated within GKC whilst some drawings and plans were only titled. To maintain the original order of the material it has been catalogued according to original GKC drawing/plan numbers, date or view.
Three distinct sets can be identified - a numbered series of church drawings from 1949-1950, prefixed with '56'; a series of numbered drawings for the associated presbytery; and a series of engineering drawings from a variety of companies (James Boyd and Sons Ltd, Mackenzie and Moncur Ltd, and, most extensively, Redpath, Brown and Co). There are also a number of undated, unnumbered drawings which have been sorted by view (in the standard sequence of plan, section, elevation, detail), and a number of unnumbered, dated drawings, which have been sorted chronologically. The latter include a series of early (1947) drawings for a proposed hall, prepared by architect James C Scotland, of Airdrie.
