Poster features a grey Mackintosh portrait focusing on his moustache, grey and orange in colour. Also features line drawings of Mackintosh chairs. The exhibition of twenty Mackintosh chairs from the Glasgow School of Art's collection formed part of the opening celebrations at Norway’s newest cultural attraction, the Jugenstilsenteret (Art Nouveau Centre), in Ålesund, from the 6th June to 12th Oct 2003. Similar to Glasgow, this city is one of the founding partners of the EU-funded Réseau Art Nouveau Network. The School’s contribution was hoped to inspire further cultural and artistic ties between the two countries.

Fashion Show poster (in aid of War on Want) for March 1963

This is a poster for the 3rd year Textiles Fashion Show held at 7pm and 9pm each night from 8th-9th Mar 2011 . The event was accompanied by a boutique and secret postcard sale with an aftershow party held at the Buff Club. The event was sponsored by Mandors Fabric Store, Buchanan Galleries shopping centre, PRI and Mash amplification. One of the themes of this year's fashion show was the Newbery Tower, which was due for demolition during the School's summer vacation in 2011. The Archives also hold digital images of the secret postcard sale, which involved the selling of postcards created by past and present students on the theme of the Newbery Tower.

The poster advertises GSA Fashion Show that was held in the Vic Bar from the 4th-5th March 2008, with tickets priced at £7.50 and £5.50 for concessions. There were two shows held at 7pm and 9pm.

Joe McGrath is known for his work as a director on films such as the 1967 version of Casino Royale, The Goon Show and Rising Damp. Bob Godfrey is an illustrator and animator, most famously known for his animation for children's television shows 'Roobarb' and 'Henry's Cat'. The poster is promoted on page 19 of The Glasgow School Of Art prospectus for 1972/73.
