The majority of this piece of furniture was lost, however a brass repousse panel plus three handles, all damaged, were salvaged and have undergone conservation and consolidation work. The original item was assessed for conservation in 2010 as part of the Mackintosh Conservation and Access Project (2006-2010).

The collection consists of 27 dolls all dressed in period costume. They are composed of various mixed media including fabrics, metal, glass, plastics, feathers and furs.

This item was lost in the fire in The Mackintosh Building at The Glasgow School of Art on 23rd May 2014. Designed as individual lights within the Library at Glasgow School of Art. Very similar in design to the thirteen lampshades which make up the central light fitting in the Library.

Original: Lucca della Robbia (1400-1482). Part of the two 'Cantorie' made for Florence Cathedral. Original currently in the collection of the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, Florence, Italy.
This item was damaged in the fire in the Mackintosh Building on 23rd May 2014. It underwent conservation and consolidation work in 2016.
