Framed plaster portrait

Wooden framed plaster relief portrait of a bearded man in profile with brown glaze. Bottom left corner has initials "J.R." or "R.J" and indecipherable signature above left shoulder. This item was damaged in the fire in GSA's Mackintosh Building on 23rd May 2014 and was conserved in 2018.

Polychrome (blue, purple, brown) glazed ceramic tile fragment with hand-painted floral design. Relief of an animal, possibly a goat or ram, on top part. Relief of a plant or tree on bottom part. 'Sulatanabad' handwritten on verso. Sulatanabad is a city, now known as Arak, in Iran. Label on verso - 'Persia 13th C.'

Hollow sarcophagus cast with relief pattern of animals and figures. Dark yellow glaze over exterior. White, unglazed interior. '14-103' handwritten in black on bottom right corner.

Pewter mug with handle. Red marking on bottom, "SCH.298". Small indented markings on side "QUART", "A8", "Wood & Sons, Glasgow", and Queen Victoria royal cypher. Due to information in an inventory, mug can be dated pre-1958.
