The Ingram Street Tea Rooms were purchased by Glasgow Corporation in 1951 for £25,000 and were then rented out as various shops and warehouses.

It is likely that there was once a wooden clock in this room, Studio 42. However at some point in history the clock itself seems to have disappeared to be replaced by a stencilled clock dial painted directly onto the studio wall. An original (c.1910) dial mechanism complete with clock hands was then accommodated by means of a hole cut into the wall at the centre of the stencilled dial, where it was then linked up to the other clocks in the electrical circuit.

This report details student G H Barcham Green's travel experiences in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1957. Green won the Haldane travelling scholarship, a cash prize of £75 awared to one student per year at this time. Green was an Interior Design student at The Glasgow School of Art between 1952 and 1958. The report reads very much like a diary and gives a very personal account of Green's experiences. Also included is a list of addresses for both Italy and Spain.

Designed for Director's Room, Glasgow School of Art. 'This large table may well have been designed for meetings of the Board of Governors, who rarely used the original Board Room which was eventually taken over as a studio. It was designed with two high backed armchairs and twelve low backed armchairs and was photographed in 1910 in the new Board Room which Mackintosh had provided for the Governors, and not in the Director's Room for which it was designed. The square is again the dominant motif in this group of designs. The table legs are square, but they are hollow, and square cut outs in them indicate the construction.' (Roger Billcliffe). Trade cabinet designed to hold various wood samples. Made for William Douglas, a decorator and friend of Mackintosh who worked on several of his commissions, especially Hous'hill. Reputedly designed by Mackintosh but some of the detailing suggests he did not closely supervise the execution. Each drawer holds samples of different woods, stains, paints and finishes. This poster advertised the work of graduating furniture, interior and product design students as part of the 1984 degree show at The Glasgow School Of Art. The exhibition ran from the 15th to the 21st of June and was held in the Newbery Lounge in the Newbery Tower on The Glasgow School Of Art campus. The poster is illustrated with a drawing of the Newbery Lounge from the vantage point of the Mackintosh Building.
This poster advertised the furniture, interior and product design degree show in 1983. The exhibition showcased the work of graduating students from each of these courses and was held in the Newbery Lounge in the Newbery Tower at The Glasgow School Of Art. The image used on the poster shows the exhibitors sitting on the steps of the Mackintosh Building.
In 1988, a Mackintosh architecture exhibition opened in Certaldo in Tuscany, Italy. It was organised by Comune di Certaldo in Palazzo Vicariale di Certaldo from 31st July to 30th September. A book was published by Electa Firenze about the exhibition including images of architectural drawings, photographs, sketches and paintings. This image is of a blue, beige, and black coloured architectural drawing.

The poster details the structure of the course and the vocational opportunities that could be gained with a degree in Interior Design.
