One related to the suicide Erich Rom in Partick, a student from Berlin (inside pages 40-41), and another related to a match between Glasgow High School and Glasgow Academy (inside pages 54-55)

There are numerous little bits of paper tucked into the diary on different pages, including; three name cards and a subscription card for the Glasgow School of Art (pp. 56-57), a newspaper cut out from 03 Jul 1905 entitled 'A day with Glasgow Cadets at Barry' (pp. 82-83), and a Glasgow School of Art Club card, tucked into the back cover page.

Inside the diary there is also a woven or knitted patch, perhaps for mending clothing.
