Other items include a catalogue for Kath Whyte: Embroiderer Retrospective Exhibition and a photograph album presented to Kath by Daimaru for her help with an exhibition.

Includes a folder entitled "Drawings" containing a collection of newspaper and magazine cuttings and a small number of photographs of various images; including ecclesiastical works of art, floral crewel work, ceramics, historical portraits, architecture, birds, etc. [outsize]

Also includes a collection of black and white images of Rome featuring architecture, sculptures and frescoes; in original envelope which bears a label with the title, "Fotografia Artistica Commerciale: Roma - via condotti, 76".

Written label: African Raffia Bag, small clutch bag woven in pink, green and cream raffia with fabric binding. Removable cream woven inner basket.

Folder containing coloured woven and embroidered samples, range of layered samples showing scrim with pulled thread effects. Printed oval label on back of some samples with 'Dobby and No'. Several coloured layer of scrim in each sample. Printed black and white newscutting of a butterfly also contained in folder (x 9 pieces).

Collection of papers and photographs relating to Kath Whyte's early years which covers her time as a student at Loreto Convent, India (1909-1927), and Arbroath High School. Includes correspondence, photographs, ephemera, newscuttings, and school work.

Collection of photographs of Kath Whyte and her family; including childhood portraits of Kath, photographs of Kath as a child with her mother and other relatives, and photographs of other Whyte family members.

There are two albums of black and white family photographs which include photographs of Girl Guide camp, Lunan Bay, class picnics, Dalkeith, Jamshedpur, and Art School in Aberdeen.

Also included is a picture postcard of the Viper troopship that Kath Whyte's father, Henry Smith Whyte, sailed with during the war (sent to Kath by her father) and two news cuttings related to the death of Kath Whyte's father, Henry Smith Whyte, in 1934: one taken from 'Guide' 7 April 1934 and the other featuring a picture of the changes made to the crossing where he died.

Collection of miscellaneous papers relating to Kath Whyte's early years which includes poems (some possibly written by her sister, Betty), sketches and drawings, press cuttings, personal correspondence, a copy of 'Glasgow & West Coast Tour Remembered' by LMC Member Gordon Brown, and 'Standard V' exam papers.

Contains a letter of application and supporting references for the post of Senior Assistant in the Department of Weaving and Embroidery at the Glasgow School of Art; eight type & hand-written letters from the Glasgow School of Art regarding Kath Whyte's appointment as Senior Assistant in the Department of Weaving and Embroidery; and one letter regarding Kath Whyte's later resignation.
