Large folder with 4 pages of mounted life studies - illuminated initial from St. Augustine's commentary on the Psalms, written for Ferdinand of Aragon, 1480; calligraphic study of the Gospel Lectionary of Paris, late 13th century; studies of illuminated initials from Durandas De Divinis Officiis, late 14th century Italy; illuminated initial of Brevary of Latin in Serum. Annotations in the lower right corner of each page states that the designs are copied from manuscripts in the British Museum, and attributes their execution to Dorothy Doddrell.
