Lizzie S Duguid took evening classes at The Glasgow School of Art while she was living at Edward Street in Stepps.
She is described in the student register in her first year as an embroidery designer and later as a designer. She was born on 26 December either in 1892 or 1893; both dates are recorded.
In 1914-15 she took evening classes in Design.
The following year, as well as evening classes in Design, she also took Drawing and Painting classes. She received a Haldane Bursary for Design of £1 1s.
In 1916-17 she also received a Haldane Evening School Bursary of £2 for Design and Decorative Art, and did Design evening classes.
She continued Design classes and also did Drawing and Painting in 1917-18, again receiving a Haldane Trust evening class bursary of £1 1s for Design and Decorative Art.
Her final year at The Glasgow School of Art was 1918-19 when she was registered as a student but no classes are recorded.
