This item was lost in the fire in The Mackintosh Building at The Glasgow School of Art on 15th June 2018.
An athlete, caught in the familiar act of scraping sweat and dust from his body with the small curved instrument that the Romans called a strigil. This cast is of the legs of the cast only.
