There were three students called Robert Wilson studying at The Glasgow School of Art in the decade around World War One.

The first student named Robert Wilson to attend The Glasgow School of Art was born c. 1889. He was a student at the School of Art from the age of 18 to 19, studying Textile Design as an evening student. He registered his occupation as warehouseman and lived at 478 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow.

A second student called Robert Wilson was born on 13th April 1891. He was an evening student at The Glasgow School of Art from 1912 to 1915, studying architecture.

The third student called Robert Wilson was born on 7th March 1895. He was an evening student at The Glasgow School of Art from session 1914/15 to session 1916/17, studying Drawing and Painting. He worked as a coach painter and listed his address as London Road School House. This primary school had opened in 1907 and included a separate building as a janitor's house.
