Student records from the Glasgow School of Art confirm that at least eight Polish students attended the School between 1903 and 1949.

This information is based on a research project investigating the number of international students who attended the Glasgow School of Art between 1903 and 1941. Whilst doing this research, the Archives and Collections also found approximately 100 students who are also suspected to be of Polish origin. The majority of these students appear in the records in the 1940s when Poland was occupied by Nazi Germany and Polish troops allied with Britain.
