Janetta R. Mackinnon (born 29/3/1894) was a student at The Glasgow School of Art from 1914-1917, completing her studies when she was awarded a diploma in the academic session of 1916-17.

Whilst studying at GSA Janetta took classes in drawing and painting and was a recipient of the Robert Hart Bursary, awarded the financial sum of £10 towards her studies. At this time Janetta is registered as living in the Rosebank Terrace area of the city.
