Large coloured print of a painting of a rhinoceros head on paper, signed by the artist. Proof copy. Kept in a sleeve with information about a book in which the print was included titled "The Rhinoceros: A Monograph" by Francesco Nardelli.

Collection of various animal prints including sheep, cows, horses, dogs, and deer with focus on different parts of the anatomy (full body, heads, horns, hoofs, tails, etc). Many prints with French labels. Some prints signed by Robert Hills (1769-1844).

Includes two copies of architectural sketches for an early English doorway, entrance to Chapter House, Glasgow Cathedral. Sketch is dated 28 January 1903, supplement to The Builder's Journal and Architectural Record, measured and drawn by Charles Forsyth. Also includes collection of architectural lithograph prints, sketches, and watercolours of various locations including Paris, Rome, Cairo, and throughout the UK, some by E. Hildebrandt. Two have a stamp on corner of work, "Department of Science and Art, Specimen presented to schools". Also includes coloured prints of various rooms in the Great Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia. Views include halls, courtyard, indoor garden, holy vestibule, throne room. Labelled in Russian and French, some include English labels written in pencil. Also includes collection of printed architectural plans and designs including two ordinance surveys of Garnethill and City Centre/Sauchiehall St., three copies of a poster of "100 Years of British Architecture" by The Observer, a floor plan of the Great Kremlin Palace in Moscow, a poster of "James Caldwell & Co. Abbotsford Stained Glassworks" designs, and three small architectural sketches/plans/designs of Grey Friars Church in Edinburgh, Chartres Cathedral in France, and Candlish Memorial Church in Glasgow.

Collection of prints and sketches of flowers, fruits, and other plants. Includes empty portfolio used to store the collection of flower prints. Written in pencil on the front cover, "Photographs and Coloured Illustrations of Flowers".

A series of black-and-white photographs of William Meldrum's watercolour landscape drawings, showing diverse views of Scotland. A few items have been signed "W. Meldrum" or dated 1920. Some photographs have two identical versions in this collection.

A variety of artworks, including landscape drawings, designs and life sketches, unique paintings made of pressed seaweed, and one printed work. A few items have annotations, such as related locations to the works or some letters. None of them are dated, except for one piece of the seaweed work.

A number of sketches and photographs of works by William Meldrum. This collection includes figure and illustrative drawings, unique pieces made of seaweed, and a series of monochrome photographs featuring landscape paintings. Most of the items are undated however the dates of creation are presumed to fall between the 1880s and 1920s. A set of typewritten paper by an unknown author dated after 1966, features a brief biography of Meldrum and descriptions of two drawings along with their custodial histories.

William Meldrum tended to work on depicting city views of Glasgow in the early 20th century and landscapes of diverse areas in Scotland. He created multiple pieces of black-and-white photographs on which his paintings have been printed; some of the photographs have identical versions.

Collection includes artworks and sketchbooks made by Jimmy Cosgrove as a student at the Glasgow School of Art; while working as a Tutor and the Director of the Glasgow School of Art; and afterwards, including work relating to the House for an Art Lover, and documenting travels across Europe, North America, and Mexico.
