Includes 42 Jacquard damask linen samples in 25 designs including plain weaves, star, geometric and tartan designs - some designs are repeated in different colour versions.

Named designs are:

  • 1621 Prince Charles Edward Stuart tartan.
  • 1621 Ogilvie tartan.
  • 1621 Stewart dress tartan.
  • 28/2 Lord of the Isles Hunting Tartan.

Illuminated manuscript page mounted on paper. Written in upper right corner is 'D. Doddrell No. 101'. Lower right corner has a The Glasgow School of Art student work tag which dates the piece to 1914-15, and ascribes the work to Dorothy Doddrell. Annotation beneath the mounted calligraphy states that it is copied from an old vellum.

Originally located in folder (DC 094/1/2/1).

Menu and Programme for the Ca'Doro Restaurant. Cover attributes the date of creation to 1924. Inside contains the menu and programme for the 17th December 1924. Due to the connection with Pettigrew and Stephens LTD, there is a possibility this was designed by Dorothy Doddrell.

Poster for a lecture by Lutz Becker

This poster advertised a lecture given by filmmaker Lutz Becker who is known for his political and art documentaries. He is also considered to be a contemporary of Derek Jarman. Becker is most famous for finding missing home videos of Adolf Hitler's girlfriend Eva Braun which give an insight into Hitler's personal life. This footage was edited by Becker and used in the World War II documentary series 'The World at War' in 1974.
