Edinburgh." written at bottom on the white border. Verso "Veronica Matthew / G.S.A. Fashion Show, 1956 or 1957 / The white dress belonged to Valerie Wilson, (now V. Ambrose), + made by her. The stole was a screen printed textile made by me in greens, red + a kind of Kakhi colour. The headdress was red knitting pins stuck into my bun. I was a student of Robert Stewart's / Printed Textiles Dept. + Kathleen Whyte's Modern Embroidery / 10 Aug 2016." Verso also includes a stamp that indicates the copyright and reference number for printing purposes.
