Textile work by Glasgow School of Art students and staff, including examples of woven textiles, some of which are most likely to be submissions for degree shows, while others seem to be submissions for an RSA Bursary Competition. Some creators are known, others are yet to be identified.

Woven in beige cotton thread, with supplementary wefts consisting of multi-coloured ribbons and carded wool (as padding).

Woollen woven sample in shades of cream, grey and black of possibly undyed yarn. Combinations of plain weave and twill weave form different bands of geometric design.

Cream and blue woven fabric with small coloured squares of material caught in pockets beween the two faces. Pockets separated by a blue grid pattern of twill and plain weave.

Black and rainbow coloured woven fabric with single strands of coloured thread, in bands of six, forming a lattice with closely woven sections behind. Thick black stripes running on the warp make a regular repeat.
